About The Car

My photo
We got this car off of Ebay. It was in Dora, AL. We bought it for around $2500 which isn't bad. This car was in a basement for about 20 years, then sold to the guy we bought it off of, which kept it in a garage for a while too. So we were very confident that the body was in fairly good condition and it was. YAY!! Then we transported it from Dora to here in Aberdeen. Using a horse trailer A.K.A My dad's Van trailer. Now me (Danielle) and my dad (Phil) are going to return it to it's former beauty. Can you tell I love this car? I hope you will enjoy watching it transform as much as we will.

Don't we look concerned.

HELP!!!!!

Ok I just got the slide done but...... I can't figure out how to get it on here. If anyone knows how to take a slideshow from PhotoBucket and put on here it would be highly appreciated.

More toeboard

Yesterday we worked a little bit on the car. We finished flanging the toe board and and getting it fitted. We put some Rust Bullit on the Torque Box and on the bottom side of the new toe board and on the brace that comes part way under the floor pan. My job during the week is to take the old rust preventer stuff off of the car. I know that's a great description right. But anyway it's put around the wheel wells and I have to take a torch :) and a scraper and maybe a wire brush to get it all off. So that is going to be fun. I'm still working on the pictures and on the slide show. Then when we get something done I'll but those pictures on here. I'm still getting used to this whole blogging thing so you'll have to bear with me. I'll do my best to keep updates on here.

Toeboard

Today me and dad are home alone while my mom, brother, and grandmother go to my uncle's place. So we have been working on the car. So far we have been working on the toeboard. Well mainly the removal of it. We got the driver toe board and floor pan trimmed and fitted next thing is to weld. Yippee!! I will have pictures on here once I get them loaded. Hopefully I will get them on here in the next few days. I'm going to try to make a slideshow of them so you will get to see from beginning to now. Got to go and get to bed. We worked hard today.

In The Beginning

In The Beginning there was a black Mustang. Which me and my dad decided to restore. As you can tell we've done allot of work to it. From taking everything out of it, to washing/removing paint (or at least one layer), to twirling it in the air. Since you have seen the beginning of our project you will now be able to take the long ride with us through the full restoration. Hope you enjoy.
